Sage has never known who her father really was thanks to a curse that tore them apart when she was just a baby, but she has seen him in her dreams before. Sage has fixed her relationship with her mother, gotten engaged to her boyfriend Harley, and her best friend Juniper has moved in with her partner, the Green-witch named Ash.

Everything seems calm until Sage begins having nightmares. In one of those nightmares, Sage is marked as the next shaman in the Harbin lineage to carry a blood curse. This time, Sage must fight to save her father, her friends and herself from a heartbroken witch, but at the same time, she must break a curse that might stop her from living life just how she wants to.
